GamesRadar wanted to pass out free t-shirts during E3 2010 to promote the site. The challenge was to create a design that was both eye catching and related to gaming but didn’t utilize any copyrighted characters. One solution used silhouettes of famous character hairstyles that would be recognizable by most gamers while the other borrowed heavily from popular street fashion t-shirt graphics at the time and featured a magnified pixelated version of the GR logo.
